At Invicta Technical College, we value linguistic proficiency as an integral part of academic success. For most of our courses, the English language entry requirement is an IELTS score of 5.5 overall, with no individual band less than 5. Alternatively, equivalent evidence of English proficiency is accepted.

Students may provide a certified copy of their IELTS test or evidence of an equivalent qualification. The following circumstances may also warrant a waiver of the IELTS requirement:
a) Successful Completion of a Senior Secondary or Tertiary Level Course in Australia:
If a student has successfully completed, within the last two years, a senior secondary or tertiary level course in Australia conducted in English, the IELTS requirement may be waived.
b) Completion of a CRICOS Registered Course at AQF Level 4 or Above in Australia:
Students who have successfully completed, within the last two years, a CRICOS registered course at AQF (Australian Qualifications Framework) Level 4 or above, delivered in English in Australia, may be exempt from the IELTS requirement.
